Had a great meal. Servings were generous, service was great. We will revisit.

Me and my husband love this place. It is an automatic Mexican food. We have invited friends to join us and they love it as well. The food is delicious, the drinks are fantastic, clean place and good service

Always a good experience at Mi Mexico. Free onsite parking. Great food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Go outside of normal dinning hours to avoid a crowd.

I call this excellent restaurant from time to time since I like the good air that is outline this restaurant. The team is highly welcoming and skilfull. The service is extraordinarily quick. Most important, the food they serve is magnificent. I frequent more than once and I was always pleased. The pay is modest. I recommend this restaurant to to all.

Although this place has an incredible drink selection the food is average at best. Flavors are blasé and uninteresting. The food never quite hits the spot. Also the cheese on the enchiladas was way too much and it didn't seem to be the standard Mexican mix type. Felt like a cheddar mix.

Great Mexican restaurant. Their salsa can be spotty in terms of runniness & spiciness, but their dishes are absolute bangers. They provide the salsa on order, while giving a choice of flour/corn tortillas.Not all dishes will have that freely available however. I had a chicken enchilada deluxe in the photo, topped with beans, rice, greens, and a dallop of guac with some sour cream.Do come early! Their service speed really dips when you're late, and you could be waiting anywhere between 30 minutes - 1 hour for service.

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this great restaurant. Well we passed a wonderful evening and the venue was evidently the reason for the fruitful gathering. The crew collaborated in a sweet manner, the cuisine was tasty and my buddies were very pleased. We shall absolutely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

This place is certainly one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am extremely glad. They keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You are always happy with this restaurant. Very recommended.

On a positive side the service and decor was great. The food--huge portions and reasonably priced lacked flavor other than salt. Please modify your recipes to include spice and flavor

The food was great. It was tasty and hot and the portions were generous. The prices were very much in line with the food that you received. The order was accurate the service was a little bit on the slow side. Seems like our server was a little bit distracted and she didn't check in with us for extended periods from time to time and we did have to flag her down. That being said she was responsive to getting things that we ordered except when someone requested water and I would say that she wasn't extremely friendly, but cordial.

Try the deep fried ice cream. Bring cash if buying under $10! Otherwise those extra add-on chips will be expensive...

Great FOOD, fish tacos were full of bits of grilled fish and topped with slaw. SERVICE was slower than preferred, long waits between orders, drinks and food; to their defense it looked like the place was packed with groups like ours.

Cute place, the food is great. Gauc was really good. Chips and salsa were just ok. I had chicken enchilada suiza, and it was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised by thier "coleslaw" it was tasty! Light and fresh. Different from creamy American coleslaw. Only issue was the service was a little spotty. We were a group of six. There wait staff could have been more attentive to our needs, I was needing a refill on my pop and needed napkins for most of my meal. Waiter hardly came around, we had to ask for him at least 3 times and it wasn't that busy. Other wait staff and workers were passing by, I was trying to get their attention, but it was like they were avoiding looking at us. And when we did get someones attention, they only said "hold on" and then we had to wait for our waiter again. I would recommend it, but you may be there for a while.

I tried the avocado tostado with sour cream with chicken. Very good! The chicken was moist, 3 good size avocados, good refried beans and rice. Had to ask for a box for leftovers!

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. The food is amazing and delicious. They can make it the way you want. If you like spicy, they make it spicy. If you like mild, they make it mild. The servers are always friendly and on top of everything. As soon as you sit down they bring chips and salsa and take your drink order. Then after you order it doesn't take long for the food to come in a hot plate ready to eat. Portions are big and enough to feed you. Very reasonable prices on the food with an average of $10-$18 per plate.

I love coming here with my family. They have great food and fair prices. The staff is very friendly too.

I was hoping this was going to be good. Unfortunately it was anything but. I ordered the expresso burrito and it was like having soup with a tortilla on top. I make my own picadillo which has a lot of flavor, this burrito has very little. Even adding salt didn't bring it to life. I used to live in the Mecca of amazing Mexican food (Southern California) and this doesn't even come close. It reminds me of Chinese restaurants in NYC that makes Mexican food as well - WHY? This is the first and the last time I will order from here. There are other Mexican restaurants here in the area that can do better.

They made us wait more than 15 minutes they got our order wrong and we also paid 91 dollars for everything I don’t recommend it.

The best pico de gallo. Beef and chicken tacos are over flowing with meat. Go for the spicy salsa to go with your chips. Staff is really helpful and accommodating.

The colorful Mexican decor boosts your spirit as soon as you are in. Food is good . Tried the tamale, fajitas and flan. All tasted good and authentic. Owner was very friendly as well. Will definitely go back.

1st time trying this place out, came out here around 1pm on a tuesday, and it was quiet time around here. The staff was friendly, and made us feel very welcoming. I had the chicken burrito lunch, which included rice, cole slaw and it was very good.

Is this the best dine-in Mexican restaurant in Lake County? Quite plausibly, YES! This is a restaurant I would happily return to. The only problem is it can get very busy and service may suffer as a result, but that is a side effect of increasing popularity. I recommend their enchiladas. Enjoy!

Very good food, and a good atmosphere. They had a good live band one night I went there too. Always pretty good service and kid friendly. The veggie fajitas are wonderful. Only downside is that I wish the margs were a little stronger!

If what you're after is large portions of greasy, cheese-covered food that is largely lacking in flavor, look no further. Service was fast and friendly, and the space was comfortable, but my food didn't really do it for me. I like cheese as much as the next person, but my entire plate was smothered in cheese and grease. The portion size was easily enough for two meals, but I passed on my leftovers because it wasn't very good. If you are here and desperate for some flavor and a tiny bit of heat, they do have a different salsa that they'll bring you if you ask for it.

Excellent food even for vegetarians. Their single order of Fajitas was sufficient for 3 normal eaters and we ordered an extra player of rice and beans. Do not forget to ask them about habanero salsa if you are a true spice lover. Their fried ice cream was so - so but was looking super delicious. Ask about their interiors and they look a perfect spot to have mouth watering food with family. Got lots of dining space and an excellent bar setup 👌

I visit this marvelous place many times as I love the good mood that is part of this restaurant. The personel is highly welcoming and skilfull. The service is deeply fast. Needless to say, the food they prepare is highly distinguished. I have been there many times and I was always happy. The expense is decent. I suggest this restaurant to to all.

This is a very nice and friendly family owned Mexican restaurant.Menu offers a big variety of dishes and appetizers, as well as beer and cocktails.I would definitely recommend to try Original Margarita.All dishes that I tried were very delicious and tasty.Staff is friendly and smiley.On the weekends there are a lot of people, so be prepared to wait a bit.There is a full bar so waiting is a bit easier.For parties of 6 people or more I would recommend reservations. For parties less than 6 people they don't take reservations.Give it a try , you'll like it.

I've eaten here a LOT. I've tried at least 75% of the things on their menu and have never been disappointed. Family owned and operated.

I ordered the Filete Culichi, fish with Poblano cream sauce. The fish tasted as if I was frozen and at timed hard to cut with fork. The staff can reduce the sauce be 25% with out reducing quality. Rices and beans were rice and beans; same as you get at any other Mexican-themed restaurant. I do not accept being in the upper part of the country as a reason to not serve authentic mexican dishes.

So gar the best Mexican Restaurant I have found in the area. Good service and very good food. The have a large menu which also contains many offers that you will not find at other restaurants.

Great services and price is very reasonable. The serving is massive but also tasty. Having dinner with a few friends there and it's a excellent place. Very authentic Mexican cuisine.

Walking in you get the feeling that this place was once just a house in Wheeling. But the atmosphere of the place is great and wonderfully decorated. Moreover it's the most authentic sitdown Mexican food I've had in the area. The Mole was top notch. The chili rellenos my wife got was legit too.

The atmosphere is amazing. The salsa is the worst part. Very runny and reminds me of ketchup. Wish it were a little more chunky and flavorful. The steak tacos were really good, but a little pricey. My wife had a burrito which was cheaper and looked fantastic. The margarita was pretty good, but I'm also not a big tequila drinker so I'm not a good judge on that.
